OPD CONTROL

Centralized control of production processes.

Control cabinets are an important part of industrial plants and machines. They enable the control and regulation of processes and at the same time protect the electrical components from faults and damage. A well-designed and constructed control cabinet is of crucial importance for the safety, reliability and efficiency of production processes.

Our control cabinet solutions

At Opdenhoff Engineering, we offer our customers a wide range of control cabinet solutions tailored to their specific needs. We specialize in digital control cabinet construction, which enables us to automatically create the circuit diagrams and configuration of the control cabinets. This allows us to minimize errors and speed up the manufacturing process.

Our control cabinet solutions cover the entire range from design, assembly and wiring to testing and installation. We also offer control cabinet modifications, repairs, refurbishments, extensions and modernizations to ensure that our customers are always at the cutting edge of technology.

Safe, reliable, efficient, tailor-made!

Our control cabinets are built to the highest quality standards and use only the best components and materials. We use low-voltage switchgear, control and regulation technology, PLC programming, frequency converters, motor starters, fuses, top-hat rail systems, enclosure climate control, EMC filters and surge protection to ensure that our enclosures meet our customers' requirements.

We work closely with our customers to ensure that we understand and can respond to their specific needs and requirements. We also provide regular maintenance services to ensure that our enclosures are always in perfect condition and functioning optimally at all times.

At Opdenhoff Engineering, we believe that well-built enclosures play an important role in the safety, reliability and efficiency of production processes. That's why we strive to offer our customers the best possible enclosure solutions tailored to their specific needs.

Engineering pages

Overall, enclosure engineering is an important process that requires careful planning, design and quality control in order to develop an enclosure that meets the customer's requirements and offers optimum performance and reliability.

RETROFIT

By using retrofit switch cabinets, companies can use their existing switchgear for longer and do not always have to carry out expensive new installations. Retrofits can also help to reduce energy consumption and maintenance costs and increase the safety and reliability of the system.

SWITCHWHEELS

They are always tailored to the specific requirements of the respective application and are high-quality, functional, safe, flexible and cost-efficient.

Create a
PLT position

The first step in the engineering of switchgear is the creation of a PCT section, which defines the requirements and specifications for the switchgear. The PCT document serves as the basis for the design of the switchgear and contains all the necessary information, such as the performance of the system, the type of components to be used and the required safety standards.

Creating an electrical plan

The next step is to create an electrical plan that shows the layout of the electrical components in the switchgear and how they are connected to each other. The electrical plan serves as a guide for the manufacture of the switchgear and helps to avoid errors and ensure that the system functions properly.

Mounting the
Switchgear

As soon as the electrical plan has been drawn up, the switchgear is assembled. This process involves installing the electrical components and connecting the cables and wires. It is important that the installation is carried out carefully to ensure that the system functions properly and that all safety standards are met.

Commissioning
of the switchgear

As soon as the switchgear has been installed, it is time for commissioning. This process involves checking the system for functionality and safety. During commissioning, all electrical components are checked for functionality and any faults are rectified. Once the switchgear has been fully commissioned, it can be used to generate electricity or control other systems.

Operating phase

After commissioning, the switchgear engineering process moves on to the operating phase. In this phase, the switchgear is regularly monitored and maintained to ensure that it functions properly.
